À propos

Health is our life's narrative.
Let's start it well.

  • Our history

Yagram is a digital health company headquartered in Brussels. It creates mobile and web applications for patients and their care providers. It began as an academic research project and grew into a technology startup, with mentorship from the European Accelerator FIWARE/FIC3 and the Microsoft Innovation Centre. Now, Yagram focuses on intelligent communication systems for perinatal care, creating efficient and effective products for each patients’ lifestyle.

  • Approach

Mums-to-be have great expectations when it comes to their pregnancy. Yet, too many women are not offered any real choice in the services they can access, and instead are told what to do, rather than being given information to make their own decisions. Care providers have to focus on care. There is little room left for time-consuming activities such as therapeutic education, remote patient monitoring, or clinical pathway scheduling. We believe that both care providers and mums can support each other with Yagram.

  • Culture

At Yagram, we believe that health care today, although scientifically correct, often fails to consider the psychology and lifestyle of the patients. We believe that health care should be tailored to the individual patient’s needs, with each patient treated as the most important stakeholder in the treatment process. We believe in patient-centric care.

  • Method

In the context of mobile technologies, the comfort of consulting the therapeutic oriented content is crucial. The main challenge is to deliver "the right information at the right time" to patients. This means building a smart information system providing patients with information in function of the treatment process while reducing the workload of care providers by being partly automated and fully interoperable with the electronic medical health record.
